I used to sell many winners after a red candle because I did not want to lose profits, and that made me take less profit. Studying past winners helps. For example, QBTS had many pullbacks into the 9 EMA, and some even undercut it, yet most continued higher. There are many red candles during a strong uptrend. Improvement takes time: you may hold one winner successfully while being shaken out of four or five others. Eventually, that one trade that you hold through the later part of the trend helps you gain traction and become more comfortable holding winners.
