For shorts, I prefer to cover into the decline rather than wait for a bounce or a close above an EMA. For longs, I try to ride the trend using the 9 or 21 EMA, but I often sell into strength without waiting for a close below an EMA. I'd estimate that happens about half the time. I'm still working on my exits, especially on longs.
